The Specialist DC Special handling acts as a contact for all special handling (SHAD/VAS and Booking in) related operational topics.
Main tasks are the coordination and implementation of established SHAD-processes for wholesale and Retail business requirements in cooperation with adidas DC. Besides coordination of daily SHAD-volumes and dates in close collaboration with DC operational teams and adidas departments (Account Operations (AO), Customer Service (CS), Customer Fulfillment (CF)) the cooperation to support in claims and issues resolution are also key tasks. Next to this monitoring, reporting, and training of established SHAD-processes and in addition communication and implementation of new / changed customer requirements in cooperation with adidas partner (AO, CS, CF) belong to the portfolio.
The Specialist DC Special handling as well assists in customer visits / workshops if assigned by Manager DC Special handling EU.
Specialist DC Special handling also assists the manager on the topic of DeSHAS (cancelled dedicated stock) for the adidas dedicated DC. The preparation of data and the coordination of daily processes are part of the area of responsibility, as is the tracking and communication of the process results. Inventory control and the timely provision of appropriate consumables is another part of the job.
Overall target is the fulfillment of customer needs, improvement of customer satisfaction in accordance to budget, system and adidas DC framework restrictions. Serving customers within SLAs and KPIs is key target.
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact as part of DC special handling EU-team for local adidas DC operational teams and adidas partner (AO, CS, CF, DC retail planning) for all SHAD/VAS related operational topics.
- Communication and implementation of new / changed customer requirements in cooperation with adidas partner (AO, CS, CF) - internal coordination and communication of solutions and timelines both for Wholesale and Retail.
- Claims reporting, analysis, and monitoring in cooperation with stakeholder – support to define and implement process to finally solve claims related issues.
- Work closely with adidas internal (AO, CS, CF) and local DC operational teams regarding coordination of daily business (volumes and dates) – clear and early communication and escalation of daily business topics in case of challenges.
- Provide input to decision making process to maximize DC targets
(especially SLA & KPI compliance) - Support of other adidas departments – support creation of training documents and train stakeholders of SHAD-processes. Analysis, preparation, and provision of relevant process data upon request in close coordination with the manager.
- Support and assist the manager in all areas of daily business as well as -if necessary and aligned with manager - in project work/topics.
- Review and optimization of established processes (from order entry till delivery) using a broad e2e process understanding / knowledge.
- Support of dedicated DC related processes (DeSHAS, Re-Pricing, Re-Work) in close collaboration with manager. Preparation of process-relevant data and communication of requested capacities with external (MAERSK) and adidas partner (e. g. Transport) for daily operational business after internal coordination with the manager. Track processes and progress and prepare related data for communication.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- min. 3 years working experience in supply chain management preferred Sporting Goods/Textile/FMCG industries.
