Working student position in the area of Litigation Operations starting January 2024 in Berlin bei Mercedes Benz Group AG

The Litigation Operations unit is the team of experts in the legal department of Mercedes-Benz Group AG when it comes to handling, optimizing and automating legal processes in German and international civil law. We combine experience from legal science, information technology (legal tech) and controlling in order to handle processes as securely, efficiently and transparently as possible.

To support our team, we are looking for motivated reinforcements who are willing to work in our agile environment on the digital transformation of the legal sector. We are part of the legal department, but embedded between our in-house IT and internal, as well as external software developers. You can understand legal processes here as well as learn code and low-code from experienced developers.

Your tasks will include the development and optimization of workflows and automations. You can learn, apply and improve the following topics:

• The development and optimization of workflows and automations
• Process modeling in Signavio
• Programming and data analysis with Python and JavaScript
• Integration of Application Programming Interfaces (API) in existing applications
• Integration of M365 into existing applications
• Integration into larger agile software development projects using SCRUM, Jira and Confluence

• Degree in computer science, information systems, electrical and information engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, statistics, business administration, or similar field of study
• Basics of programming
• Fun with coding, data science or process optimization
• Willingness to learn and enjoy personal development
• Structured and independent way of working
