Flowserve is currently looking for a Production Planner (M/F/T). In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing production planning and control for optical systems and subsystems manufacturing. You will work closely with the Line Manager to make informed business decisions that positively impact the ability to meet our customers' needs while meeting quality, inventory, cost, and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all planning data: Customer orders, OEM forecasts, custom/special orders and strategic build plans.
• Using the MRP system, convert consolidated sales forecasts into a master production plan / manufacturing schedule.
• Create and distribute weekly production plans / shipping lists for work orders.
• Assist management in resolving issues with late deliveries, material shortages, customer schedule changes and customer order cancellations.
• Prepare, coordinate, and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Initiate and coordinate supplier corrective actions for non-compliant material receipts.

Requirements:

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in the practical application of MRP logic, scheduling logic, order guidelines, capacity planning, input/output control, product structures, routings and standards maintenance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to work well with staff at all levels and internal departments in a diverse environment.
• Experience with SysPro is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of master scheduling, production planning and detailed scheduling, demand management, purchasing and cost accounting methods.
