Company Description
We are looking for an Intern to join our People Organisation & Development Team, which focuses on improving AUTO1's capability through aligning strategy, structure, products and tools, processes, and reports. Our team comprises experienced Project Managers and System Engineers, working directly with the company's management team and all functions of our People department.
As an Intern, you will assist the team with drafting and publishing internal policies and improving our systems and operations. You will tackle areas such as compensation strategy, underlying structures in the group, performance management, feedback, and training programs. You’ll get hands-on leading systems such as Workday and SmartRecruiters. You work within a highly dynamic team, with international exposure in the People Organisation & Development team.

Job Description - Support our People tools ecosystem by implementing new processes and routine maintenance (e.g. structure consistency), proactively resolve issues and technical request and train end users.
- Work closely with international senior stakeholders, implement a full review of our compensation grades, and identify alignment tactics across job families and countries.
- Join the learning and development team to roll out a feedback process for 5000+ employees across our Group.
- Keep your stakeholders up-to-date at all times, maintain the documentation of your projects and be the go-to person for all questions and suggestions related to your projects.
- Contribute to AUTO1's organizational development by actively supporting Project Managers in navigating internal policies and overseeing system operations.
Qualifications - A university degree in Business, Management, Social Sciences, or in other related field
- Ideally, first experience in project management, system administration, or product and a keen interest in People matters and employee satisfaction
- Fast-adapting personality with a strong sense of ownership, detail orientation, and “just do it” approach
- Process-focused thinking and excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English - verbal and written, German is a plus
