HSE OFFICER in Wilhelmshaven bei KN Energies

We are looking for an HSE Officer in an FSRU based LNG import terminal in Wilhelmshaven. Brief responsibilities include management of integrated HSEQ System and implementation of ERP, constant assessment and renewal of HSEQ risks, participation in audits and inspections while ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, operational and HSEQ KPIs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, maintains and improves Integrated HSEQ Management System.
Ensures compliance and implementation of requirements arising from local and national legislation.
Implements organization’s HSEQ policy, ensures familiarization for relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Tracks, monitors and strives out to reach HSEQ objectives and KPIs, reports progress.
Ensures overall emergency preparedness for the organization, reviews and updates emergency response plan as may be required, organizes emergency drills.
Identifies and tracks employee training requirements, organizes trainings.
Establishes and maintains Permit-to-Work system.
Plans and conducts internal audits, coordinates inspections and third-party audits. Coordinates elimination of the findings.
Procures and manages PPE, ensures safety needs for the employees are met.
Prepares and implements communications plan for HSEQ activities and legislative changes.
Registers and investigates HSE incidents, coordinates follow-up actions.
Reviews, revises and updates HSEQ related risks.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATES AND EXPERIENCE:
University degree in engineering, environmental and safety or related field.
3 years+ of experience as HSEQ manager or HSE coordinator in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation or other production company or logistics/transport sector.
In depth knowledge and practical application of HSE legislation.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards would be considered as an advantage.
Experience in preparing and maintaining documentation related to Integrated HSEQ Management system.
Fluency (B2 or higher) in English and German.
Driver’s license.
