Your Role

In an international, interdisciplinary and motivated team, develop innovative surgical devices for ophthalmologyBecome responsible for the HW development of an optical coherence tomogr
aphy engine, comprising of optical, electrical and mechanical elements
Work with internal and external partners to develop and release an optical coherence tomography based medical measurement system
Define and update component level requirements in conjunction with system engineering and software teams
Plan, carry out, evaluate, and document tests to verify component requirements
Work with issue tracking tools to track, plan and coordinate enhancements and new features within the component
Stay close to our customers and sales organization to ensure successful commercialization and the realization of our growth ambition

Your Profile

University degree in electrical engineering, optical systems, mechatronics, medical technology, physics or comparable disciplines
At least five to ten years of professional experience in product development (ideally in medical devices)
Interest in medical applications
Broad technological understanding and practical skill
Know-how in field of measurement technology
An independent, systematic way of working and a strong focus on resultsVery
good team player with communication skills
High degree of responsibility and assertiveness
Oral and written communication skills in English
