For our plant in Haßloch (Palatinate) we are looking for an Assistant Plant Manager (m/f/d)

Role overview:
You want to be prepared for a future Plant Manager? Then you should apply - as part of succession planning you will be intensively prepared to take on this position.

Key responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environment

Assisting the Plant Manager in establishing, implementing, and developing plant health & safety policies and procedures to achieve best results in achieving zero accidents and in reducing energy usage.

Quality

Assisting the Plant Managers in establishing, maintaining, and developing an effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and providing direction, leadership, and support to the team to enable the plant to deliver quality products and projects.

Production/Continuous Improvement

You work on processes and continuous improvement projects, reviewing lean and best practices.

and translate important objectives into local plant-based targets.

Financials

You are looking for capex and other projects and ensuring the plant meets the agreed output requirements.

People

You assist the Plant Manager in building strong teams.
You actively support our Ardagh values trust, team, excellence.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years job related experience at senior management level in a unionized environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
Understanding 24/7/365 5 shift pattern operation and high volume/scale effect.
Experience close to the Shop floor operation and understanding people drivers and machinery.
Proven leadership skills to build effective teams.
Customer focused, self-driven, dynamic personality with strategic approach.
Fluent knowledge of German
