To strengthen our Corporate Supply Chain Team at the Duisburg site, we are looking to recruit as soon as possible a Production and Equipment Specialist Supply Chain (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

you are the technical expert of the Corporate Supply Chain team.
you are supporting the local operating companies of Van Leeuwen (located in 33 different countries) on topics like Quality & Safety, (Production) Equipment Management, Stock & Assortment Management and International Projects with a technical focus.
as Production and Equipment Specialist, you will support colleagues all over the Van Leeuwen Group on technical challenges
you centralize purchasing activities for spare and wear parts for more efficiency.
in the field of digitalization and automation you are planning, implementing and rolling out projects
overall, you investigate and create improvements to increase the efficiency of processes and material flows
every project is as well linked to environmental and sustainability aspects as this is an important goal for the company

Who you are

you have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline and maybe you have already gained some work experience in the area of Supply Chain or Operations
you feel at ease in a technical environment and are interested by challenges with technical focus.
you are able to manage your time and workload effectively and efficiently: working on different projects and with different stakeholders which is very important.
you are friendly and open minded and have good networking skills: collaborating and communicating with different international stakeholders at every hierarchical level is no problem for you.
your IT skills (MS Office, MS Teams, SAP) are up to date
you would be open to travel to the local operating companies if necessary
