We are looking for a quality-driven, multi-account juggling
Account Director to join our creative agency Highsnobiety+. The responsibilities include building and nurturing healthy client relationships, developing new marketing opportunities, briefing creative teams, allocating and managing budgets, and identifying new areas of growth. Successful candidates will be resourceful self-starters who will take initiative and follow through on projects, have exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven track record of client relationship management and experience in strategic leadership, and at least 8 years of work experience with some experience in a management role, and a keen eye for detail. They will undertake projects, provide leadership to staff, assign workload, review work quality, assist in workload prioritization, and guide career development for their accounts.
YOUR MISSION: - Own the full project lifecycle by planning, organizing, and managing client and internal initiatives end-to-end
- Oversee the projects that are managed by your team
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
- Liaise across various departments to provide clear and concise timing, budgeting, and communication
- Collaborate with different creative teams, production, sales, editorial, global client services counterparts, and external partners
- Create robust and profitable budgets, deliverable scopes, and other legal documents
- Record revenues, track costs, and maintain accurate profit and loss statements
- Prepare billing instructions and ensure that final program costs are aligned with the budget
- Foresee challenges or obstacles and take action to minimize the impact
- Resolve issues that pertain to the project including client conflicts, delays in approvals, and other challenges
- Work closely with the team to improve workflows and gather learnings from previous projects
- Set the standard and create best practices for collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership
- Ensure consistency with the overall company goals and our client initiatives
- Ensure the company's retention of clientele, facilitate further growth within your accounts, and perform negotiations
- Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
- Provide an exceptional client experience and increase client satisfaction
- Manage client communications and direct senior leadership stakeholders through the partnership
- Act as a senior point of contact for our top-level clients and build close relationships
- Understand the business goals and objectives of each assignment, and identify the optimal processes and procedures for each client
- Plan and strategize our initiatives based on client needs and insights
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, case studies, and proposals
- Drive, motivate, and hold internal teams accountable to deliver high-quality results
- Develop goals and objectives for your subordinate staff
- Provide regular feedback and counsel to your team to meet their objectives
- Conduct bi-annual performance evaluations and foster the development of the team's individual skills and responsibilities
YOUR SKILLS: - At least 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role within a creative and media agency or similar
- Experience as an Account or Client Service Director or a comparable position
- Proven track record of full life cycle project management
- Complete knowledge of digital and creative production processes
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and within a team setting
- Deep knowledge of digital advertising, content marketing capabilities, and implementation
- In touch with culture, trends, marketing, media, and the lifestyle brand landscapes
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic
