As a Work Student in Demand Planning, you would play a crucial role in supporting the demand forecasting process and gaining practical experience in the supply chain domain. This role provides valuable insights into demand planning, data analysis, and collaboration within a professional setting, which can be a steppingstone towards a rewarding career in supply chain management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Engagement with ongoing projects and relevant subjects within the domain of demand planning.
- Creation and Optimization of reports and dashboards that provide visibility into demand trends and forecast related key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Offer assistance as a backup for tasks within supply planning.
- Participation in day-to-day work and administrative activities.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
- A student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and the capability to interpret and manipulate extensive datasets to identify patterns.
- Initial experience in the use of planning software tools would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, creating spreadsheets, and performing calculations.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar software would be beneficial.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in German would be advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner, coupled with strong communication skills.
