Job Description

The Account Manager Media Rights & Rally.TV will be responsible for servicing existing clients (e.g. global broadcast partners).

The role also includes the business development of the newly launched OTT platform and 24/7 linear channel Rally.TV. The Account Manager will also be responsible for own media rights deals and to support the Senior Director Media Rights & OTT in the day-to-day business including for example sales support and administrative tasks.

#CLIENT SERVICE / ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Provide account management to our global broadcast partners.

#Rally.TV BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Assist Senior Director Media Rights & OTT in exploiting the opportunities that come with the new OTT and 24/7 channel Rally.TV.

#MEDIA RIGHTS SALE

• Assist Senior Director Media Rights & OTT in the sales of the WRC Promoter media rights portfolio and take responsibility of own agreements.

#NEWS DISTRIBUTION

• Optimize the coverage of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship, and the FIA World Rallycross Championship.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the media and/or sports industry.
• University degree or commercial training with relevant professional or educational development
• Knowledge of the sport and media industry.
• Fluent in English and German – additional languages an advantage.
• Highly motivated and proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
• In line with the expectations of a company which is involved in extensive worldwide motorsport championships, travel and weekend work will be required.
