At our office in Reutlingen we are looking for you as Development Engineer (m/f/d) Process Simulation & Print Data Preparation.
What you can expect
- Execution of material flow simulations for interlinked production processes as well as design of production chains (number of plants, cycle time, availability, buffer capacity, etc.)
- Definition of KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) for production plants, especially plant cycle times, uptimes and yields
- Support in the preparation of project planning documents, technical requirements (specifications) for production plants as well as for automation and software (Manufacturing Execution System)
- Development of simulation solutions for material flow automation and print data preparation
- Validation of simulation results
- Conducting technical clarification meetings with customers (m/f/d)/suppliers (m/f/d) at home and abroad
- Supporting other business segments in the planning of interlinked production processes
What we expect
- Successfully completed studies, ideally in the field of computer science/engineering or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of machine and system technology as well as digital printing applications
- Willingness to perform, initiative and structured approach as well as conceptual strength
- Experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and/or digital printing systems
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good English skills round off your profile
