Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

You will get an overview about running digitization initiatives and how they are connected to our different teams of 1CD4 - the Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity department
You will support the development of concept demonstrators in the context of our cabin digitalization / IoT activities involving embedded and/or application programming.
You will support the creation of new digital platforms: Data analytics with Google suite products as sheets or data studio.
You will have the opportunity to explore the Airbus Model-based System Engineering approach.
You will have the opportunity to interact with various other functions within Airbus such as procurement, programs, or customer services.
You are NOT alone! Our team will guide you through your first weeks and you will be introduced to the overall Cabin Systems Engineering perimeter. We are ONE community responsible for all Airbus Programs A320, A330, A350XWB (A380), in-Service Support and incremental as well as complete new developments.
Enrolled full-time student in the area of economics, economic engineering, business informatics, business studies or an equivalent field of study.
Experience with Google tools, Python, embedded programming processes and tools (e.g. the Arduino platform)
