Keepit is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Global Sales Engineering Team working in the DACH region.
We are growing fast as a company, and we are set on using our momentum to bring SaaS cloud-based backup services to a global audience. The Sales Engineering team plays an essential part in this by supporting our sales team in closing deals. This requires us to be knowledgeable about the implementation of our service, and how it can bring value to our customers.
As aSales Engineer, you will help us drive customer satisfaction through excellent service and assist our sales teams in recruiting and onboarding new customers. As such, you will play an essential role in explaining technical information to customers and partners, focusing on revealing how our services can solve specific customer problems. You will be engaging with customers & partners, so you should be comfortable navigating both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Central tasks as a Sales Engineer at Keepit include:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to recruit customers focusing on the DACH region.
- Lead technical validations (POCs, trials) and conduct customized technical presentations and product demos.
- Engage in public speaking, webinars, and content creation to highlight Keepit's value proposition and technological leadership.
- Oversee the transition from technical validation to customer activation, ensuring a smooth handover to the support team.
- Develop and deliver training to partners and sales staff, enhancing their understanding of Keepit's products and technical benefits.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be joining our team of competent sales professionals and IT entrepreneurs in DACH region. You will report to the Head of Sales Engineering EMEA, Barry van Varik. The ability to effectively communicate Keepit’s value proposition, engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and act as the face of Keepit in the region is crucial. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and public relations skills to elevate Keepit’s brand and establish it as a leader in the cloud data protection market.
4. Perfect business proficiency in German: We use English as our company language, but working in the German speaking market, with German speaking customers require perfect business level German, either C2 certified or native speaker.
