In the Delivery Unit TB our vision is to ensure delivery in time, budget, scope and quality for the E3 1.2 cluster 6 and 8 by providing the E2E responsibility across all systems. Together with the system leads and cluster managers, we coordinate customer needs, commission the Tech Centers with the development of products, monitor the project progress holistically and resolve goal conflicts. The Delivery Unit is the defined interface to the series of the brands.
- Key responsible and contact person for internal and external stakeholders for cross-system issues related to internationalization topics
- Define and lead development and testing scope at abroad CARIAD or VW Group locations together with system leads, portfolio/architecture/testing & integration management leads.
- Monitor project progress and define appropriate countermeasures to ensure on-time cluster releases
- Create transparency regarding top blocker and risks together with partners at abroad sites up to the Management Board
- Transfer defined immediate hands-on measures to sustainable solutions
- Alignment with brands, country-management and international sites to raise synergies in the regions
- Ensure the market fit with regard to state-of-the-art solutions, competitiveness, sustainability and comfort of the product from end-customer perspective and homologation capability
- Support for abroad locations in organizational, procedural and methodical matters
- Academic degree in a technical discipline or equivalent qualification
- 8+ years of experience in automotive industry with in-depth knowledge of hardware/software/electronics development
- Strong intercultural skills, coupled with the knowledge to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively
- A strong coordinator and leader, able to work within a matrix organization and be capable to communicate / cooperate with different decision makers
- A proactive problem-solving approach with a demonstrated ability to maintain focus, prioritize demanding workloads, and deliver exceptional quality
- Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken German and English, Chinese as beneficial
- Experience in the Volkswagen Group/ experience with China market/ experience oversea
