Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

As Amaris Consulting, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team in Berlin, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business objectives and IT capabilities, helping our clients optimize their processes and drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, define project scope, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive business and functional requirements documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with business objectives.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation, identifying trends and insights to support decision-making.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of IT systems and architectures, including ERP systems, CRM platforms, and database management.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English is Mandatory.
