Time Type: Part time
The Tooling working student is responsible for complex daily work within a wide range of EHS disciplines across Tooling in Casting. The working student supports day-to-day operations by managing several EHS processes including review and standardization of safety operating instructions (Betriebsanweisung), safety training and support of the Ass tooling maintenance manager in the different implementation phases of the EHS specifications. Tooling working student support the incident reporting and analysis process and work closely with Supervisors and EHS team to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
What You’ll Do
- Support the preperation of weekly safety presentations/reports
- Support the preperation of risk assessments and operating instructions
- Preparation of statistics, presentations, and training
- Suport on evaluation of workplaces regarding occupational safety and ergonomics
- Ensure that existing requirements on safety are met in shops and support them to reach it
- Learn how to maintan day-to-day stakeholder relationships
- Learn and support management with Incident follow up
- Learn how to coordinate projects
- Learn how health and safety is implemented in companies
What You’ll Bring
- Good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (C1 level minimum)
- Preferably, pursuing a degree in the field of occupational safety and environment
- Bonus points if you have a foundation in Casting/Tooling topics within the EHS field
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to analyze problems and find solutions in a structured manner
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented
- Ability to work in a team as well as in an organized and independent manner
- A strong team player
