Export Control Officer in Ottobrunn bei Airbus

Job Description:

In order to support the “Export Control department” in Taufkirchen / Ottobrunn, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an Export Control Officer (d/f/m)

You will be an Export Control Officer with as a main objective to support overall topics with Export Control and the affiliates project and all other cross-functional projects.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

• Coordinate overall compliance checks, findings, corrective actions & best practices

• Ensure that corrective actions are well implemented across the Division

• Remove the silo thinking within the organization by communicating and introducing best practices throughout the Export Compliance Officer organization

• Manage and align internal and external reporting

• Guarantee the correct management of Voluntary Disclosures

• Prepare and coordinate specific and cross-platform license applications, especially towards the US authorities

• Ensure proper license management & communication

• Manage export control risks and support other operational functions to manage theirs

• Secure that same methodologies are being followed & coordinate any cross-organizational projects

• Identify continuous improvements for the Export Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all export related national & international laws and regulations

• Support the Airbus Defence affiliates project and all other cross-functional projects

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Your are educated to a degree level in Law, Export, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent

• Ideally you have already gained experience and knowledge in the field of export control

• It is an advantage if you have attended dedicated training courses in the field of export control

• You have already gained experience in the international program business

• You take initiative and are committed to your work

• You are curious and willing to learn new things

• You work in a detailed and precise manner

• You have good communication and organizational skills

• You are used to work with MS Office products, SAP and Google Workspace

• You are fluent in German and English
