We have an opportunity available for an Intern to join the R&D team at CSL Behring Innovation in Marburg. Our team focuses on delivery of new biotherapies to treat serious medical conditions. You will join a global network of scientists and engineers who develop and manufacture recombinant proteins, vaccines, and cell-based gene therapies for pre-clinical and human clinical trials.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Organize and analysis of Next Generation Sequencing data
Establish a workflow for NGS data analysis
Design and perform experiments to validate observed NGS results
Evaluation and communication of results to the manager or project team in the form of a report or a presentation
Creation and maintenance of records within internal documentation systems
Experience in the following areas is an advantage:
Good R and/or Python programming skills
Good molecular biology knowledge and hands-on experience PCR / RT-PCR / ddPCR
Interest in both wet lab and Bioinformatics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team member
Qualifications & Experience:
A University Degree in a relevant field of Science (e.g. Bachelor or Master of Science in Life Sciences)
English Level 2
