- Conducting and supporting investigations in our lab on already set standardized tests and coming up with novel pragmatic solutions for different experiments
- Operate testing equipment and use designated tools
- Running experiments on thermal / mechanical properties of foams / fabric samples or full products, and reporting their results
- Finding pragmatic solutions to test product properties
- Share important information with our team and proactively communicate potential risks or concerns
- You will fit in as a self-standing member of our testing facilities
- You will be involved in a wider range of projects and make sure to meet project deadlines
- You support us to identify opportunities to improve our processes and testing facilities
- You continuously question the status quo and look for pragmatic solutions
- You are available for at least 6 months, for 20 or 40 hours a week
- You ideally have initial laboratory experience through university, internship, or work is a plus
- You are currently studying or have a background in mechanical / electrical / civil engineering, physics is a plus
- You are interested in research, want to understand and test products to ensure their performance
- You combine diligence with an analytical mindset and thinking outside the box
- You have no problem working with testing equipment
- You can work well on your own and assume full ownership for the quality of your work
- You are hands-on and have a can-do mentality
- You are comfortable working in MS Office, and programming in Python, R, Matlab is a plus
- You have outstanding verbal and visual communication skills
- You enjoy working in a diverse team
- You are fluent in English
