As a Product Design Working Student at BBG, you'll be an essential part of our Product Management team including approx. 38 team members, influencing great design and supporting project completion. Our team stands out for its unwavering commitment to outstanding design, which impacts every product we create through trending colors, materials, and finishes. Exciting tasks for you include silk screen work, research into new products, and upcoming projects like new season sourcing and design guideline creation. Are you ready for your next chapter at BBG?

What you will do:
Conduct market and competitor research to create moodboards and design guidelines
Assist designers with Flat Sketch Line Drawings and various design-related tasks
Support all processes related to patent protection
Provide design support for smaller projects, including colour management, renderings, silk screens, and logo/branding placement
Participate in product name selection and tracking, ensuring follow-up and organization

What we are looking for:
Enrolled student in the field of product design or a related design discipline
Exceptional communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions within the team
A solid understanding of the product design industry and its dynamics
Proficiency in design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Basic 3D knowledge and experience with Rhino and/or Solidworks
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Fluency in English, written and spoken

Who we are:
BBG creates, builds, buys, and scales consumer brands globally. Within the last 17 years we have created and built 14 own e-commerce brands including our largest and best-known brands Klarstein, auna, blumfeldt and Capital Sports. Since 2020, we have been buying e-commerce brands, scaling them globally through our more than 100 sales channels and now we integrated more than 40 brands into our product portfolio. Our passion for good products is reflected by the over 4,800 items we bring to our customers in 28 countries via the D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) model. Our headquarter is in Berlin, however our employees work in a total of 10 locations around the globe - from Europe, UK, USA, to Asia.
