Job Description
This position is in the Partnerships team responsible for developing joint decarbonization partnerships with industrial companies, hydrogen developers and energy utilities. The team is proactively monitoring the market and advising on opportunities to develop leads with potential partners in our core markets. The Partnerships team is looking for a working student to support the market analysis work and the daily business. BA Wind continues to focus on forging partnerships with industrial off-takers of renewable electricity to support them in their decarbonisation endeavors. This position offers a great opportunity to participate in projects with strategic importance to Vattenfall. The role will involve working closely with the full team and exposure to the many different activities happening in BA Wind. A direct contact person will give necessary guidance and regular feedback.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and conduct market research and analysis to identify and understand business, market and regulatory trends in industry decarbonization (i.e., cement, steel and chemicals sectors), fossil free hydrogen and offshore wind to derive partnership opportunities
- Produce structured presentations to summarize the market analyses
- Support the Partnerships team with on-going business such as preparing marketing material for partnering talks
- Support with screening of potential partners regarding strategic fit and project specific aspects
Qualifications - You are studying engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, economics or equivalent, ideally with a focus on energy or industrial processes
- Your English communication skills are strong, both verbally and written
- Good Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) knowledge is required
- You have a structured way of working and are performance-oriented with ability to prioritize
- You are highly motivated, communicative, pro-active and you enjoy working in a team
- You ask for help and guidance when needed and think beyond the task at hand, making suggestions wherever you see room for improvement
