Data Analyst (d/f/m)

We invite you to become a part of the A320 Family Engineering Configuration team. Our Engineering team strives to enhance the operability, manufacturability, performance, and comfort of the A320 Family aircraft. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to work across the Airframe Engineering activities, with a primary focus on Configuration Management.

Given the rapidly-evolving nature of the A320 Family business, we offer an exciting and broad spectrum of activities that require a comprehensive understanding of data. As part of the Configuration team, we aim to develop a digital, state-of-the-art, end-to-end view of our inputs, outputs, deliverables, and associated performance. We want to anticipate and manage all impacts associated with the volatility of our activities and communicate with transparency.

You will propose and implement digitization solutions to Airframe Engineering Change Management team in order to measure and improve performance. You will link with the Airframe Engineering Digitalization network, contributing to the continuous improvement of A320 Family Configuration Management activities.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

• You specify and prioritize business requirements and design functional IT / data architectures

• You coordinate acceptance and introduction of digital solutions

• You design and specify interfaces with data sources, databases, software to enable flexible data analyses and data processing in real time

• You program with current programming and scripting languages

• You transfer knowledge and are involved in change management

Desired skills and qualifications

• You have a bachelor's degree within data management and similar fields of study

• You have fun with data wrangling and you are familiar with exploratory analysis and basic statistics

• You have software design and development skills and you master programming language: python, Skywise, SQL, access database, Java script would be a plus

• Working experience within engineering domain especially configuration and integration is a plus

• Your English and German are at a negotiation level. French is a plus

• You are open minded, curious to continuously learn, you propose new ideas and you like a dynamic team environment

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
