As a System Validation Engineer at Renesas, you will be responsible for the successful product characterization in the laboratory. A systematic validation of our mixed-signal IC-products is the key of the success for our business line. Your verification and validation tests are developed in close cooperation with Design team and ensure the delivery of high-quality products to automotive customers.

Your Role:

Planning and Definition of Validation tests based on product specifications
Define new concepts and provide inputs for Equipment/HW changes aimed at test improvement
Preparation of bench setup incl. Equipment, Probes and DUT connections for sensitive measurements
Implementation and debugging of Automated test cases for reliable execution
Post-processing, data analysis, comparison of results to simulations and ATE
Debugging for discovering and isolating root causes of silicon bugs
Customer support in IC device application issues
Documentation of executed tests and weekly status reporting
PCB design including schematic and layout of Validation HW
Specific Mechanical setup of test bench for device measurements
Coding of product specific lab tests with python, LabView or similar
Generate scripts for automation of data processing and analysis

Your Profile:

Graduate with degree in electrical engineering, electronics, physics or related fields
Practical experience with mixed-signal semiconductor devices
Knowledge of Python, LabView, PCB Design tools
Knowledge in measurement techniques and mastery of equipment
Genuine, open minded and hands-on approach with passion for technical challenges
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team are completing your profile
Fluent in English. German is a plus
Valid work allowance for Germany
