We are looking for a

Team Lead Accounting & Payments (m/f/d)

(unlimited, fulltime) Join our team at one of our locations in Verl, Münster, Berlin or Baden-Baden – flexible working conditions available

Your tasks:

• A ten-person, international team at the locations Verl and Münster in the department “Operational Finance” is looking forward to your expertise with a focus on financial accounting (accounts payable and accounts receivable) and IT project management.
• You will be responsible for the operational management of the teams, at the same time you will be the contact person for internal and external auditors and act as an interface to the different departments and countries, but also to banks and service providers.
• International accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements are part of your daily tools, this also means that you reconcile monthly key figures in various systems like Phoenix, internal platform and SAP)
• Create internal reports or release payments for merchants and end customers in the various banking systems
• You will accompany operational and year-end audits including communication with all necessary stakeholders
• You will have the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping and building the Operational Finance team. We are looking forward to you!

Your profile:

• You have a degree in economics or have expanded your knowledge through further training as an accountant, financial accountant or business economist
• You have several years of professional experience in accounting/balancing and have initial leadership experience
• Analytical thinking, strong affinity for numbers and processes
• You feel confident in using the MS Office package and have an affinity for IT applications
• You like to work in an international, dynamic context and communicate confidently in German and English
