We’re seeking a proactive and methodical Accountant to assist both the finance department and the business in important business decisions that impact the financial reporting. In this fast-paced role, you’ll deal with general accounting, account payable and fixed assets. You’ll provide hands on knowledge on the general ledger and ensure data integrity at all times. In addition, you’ll take part in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities. In order to optimise accounting procedures, you’ll make and implement recommendations and liaise with external advisors regarding VAT, payroll and other tax declarations.The Person

• Previous Accounting experience with excellent knowledge of accounting standards and the DACH region (in particular, experience with Switzerland or Austria would be an advantage)
• Experience working in an SAP Environment
• Able to interpret financial information/data/issues in a business context and present material clearly and concisely.
• Well organised with a meticulous eye for detail and strong analytical mindset
• Confident across the Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills
• Good communication skills (especially German, English would be a plus), confident building working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of authority, navigating cultural differences with ease
