Responsible for translating Zalando product safety and quality framework, EU and local regulations into Zalando operational processes for the assortment supplied by Designer and Luxury Brands (accessories, home & living).
Implementing robust and scalable processes to ensure non-conformities are identified and managed effectively internally (interface to Buying) and externally (Designer & Luxury Brands management) striving to continuously improve product compliance at Zalando.
Execute compliance and quality programs which include due diligence measures and checks, documentation and test report review, risk assessment, and inbound quality guidance.
Driving strategic concepts with ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes and solutions.
Promoting knowledge internally and providing guidance and support to Designer and Luxury Brands.
You have advanced professional knowledge of European legislative requirements related to quality and safety of accessories particularly personal protective equipment such as sunglasses, home & living or products with food contact.
You have previous relevant work experience in the retail industry in the following sectors: fashion and accessories. Experience in working with luxury, designer Brands would be of advantage.
You bring strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills with the declared intention to drive prevention focus and proven track record in project management.
You bring excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English.
You have advanced knowledge of software applications in project management, word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentations as well as Google tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
You are curious to develop regulatory knowledge of additional product categories and markets
