Scientist Near-Infrared Spectroscopy in Ludwigshafen am Rhein bei trinamiX GmbH

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As part of our Optical System Development team, you will be responsible for the further development of the trinamiX near-infrared spectroscopy platforms for the detection of biomarkers in humans and other applications.
• In your new role, you will develop and optimize feasibility studies, applications and measurement concepts in the field of near-infrared spectroscopy.
• You will be responsible for planning, conducting and analyzing experiments to validate the applications developed.
• Last but not least, you will act as a contact person in an interdisciplinary team on the topics of optical measurement methods, skin physiology, biophysics and other relevant areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• very good degree in physics, biophysics, chemistry or a comparable subject, preferably with a PhD
• practical experience with optical measurement methods on skin (e.g. OCT, hyperspectral, NIR) as well as in handling spectroscopic devices and optoelectronic systems
• very good programming skills in at least one common programming language (e.g. Python, R, MATLAB)
• knowledge of multivariate data analysis or chemometric methods is a plus
• excellent communication skills in English and/or German and willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams
