The scientists at the institute work in research, development and transfer projects with universities, research institutions and technology leaders in Bavaria, Germany and Europe. Working Student in Computer Vision and Machine learning (M/F/D)

• Support software implementation activities within one of our ongoing projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the exploration, implementation, and fine-tuning of state-of-the-art vision-based machine learning architectures.
  • Work on various computer vision tasks, including 2D and 3D object detection.
  • Participate in the curation and management of vision datasets necessary for the computer vision tasks.

• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience in implementing deep learning solutions using Python.
• Practical experience with the MMLab pipeline; familiarity with MMdet and MMdet3d is a plus.
• Completed a bachelor's degree and currently enrolled in a master's degree program in electrical engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Solid background knowledge in deep learning and computer vision.
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
