In order to secure our market leadership and for further growth in process automation, we are looking for a Product Sales Manager (m/f/d) in Germany to sell our MAXUM Gas Chromatographs to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, renewables and other industries.
What you can expect:

Creating sales opportunities in the CRM system by observing and identifying customer needs

You track the relevant “sales leads” of your customers in the market and ensure that the opportunities are followed up. In doing so, you observe commercial law and ethical principles.

Customer visits are part of your tasks in order to deepen existing customer relationships or establish new ones.

You will process customer inquiries and forward them to the central quotation department in Karlsruhe.

You will check and manage quotations and orders.

Valmet's sales tools support you in your efficiency.

You are the link between customers, the central sales support and the operations team in the Europe Hub in Karlsruhe to clarify questions in all phases of order processing such as pre-sales, quotation, order and order processing and to develop solutions.

In this position you can gain experience through international cooperation with partners and the international sales team.
What do we expect from you?

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, engineering technology or similar

You have several years of experience in the process industry and/or automation technology.

You have a strong customer focus and the talent to turn customer problems into commercial solutions.

You are fluent in German and English and have good intercultural communication skills.

You can present yourself and your topics well and understand how to interact with customers.

You feel confident in a dynamic business environment, so you can successfully apply your problem-solving skills - sometimes under time pressure.

You enjoy working with technically challenging products and you are able to see things through to a good conclusion.

You are willing to travel approx. 50% of your working time within your sales territory - sometimes also internationally, but much less frequently.

A car driver's license is required.
