At the chair of energy economics and the assistant professorship of energy market design, we are investigating a broad range of energy markets, carriers, and infrastructures, their decarbonization, digitalization, and decentralization, related questions of sector coupling, regulation, and market design, as well as the role of energy in the macroeconomy.
YOUR TASKS
- Support with research projects and scientific publications at the chair and at the assistant professorship
- Literature review on energy technology, economics, and policy
Data collection, processing, and analysis
YOUR PROFILE
- A Bachelor‘s degree in economics, business administration, mathematics, computer science or (industrial) engineering
- Interest in and ideally prior knowledge of energy economics
- Good analytical skills and an independent, reliable, thorough, and structured way of working
Interest in or knowledge of one of the programming languages Python, VBA, or GAMS and solid knowledge of MS Excel are an advantage

The position is available immediately on a part-time basis (43-69 hours per month). The position is to be filled for a fix term of 12 months.
