What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced manager with strong communication skills who will become an important member of our interdisciplinary team of experts from chemical product stewardship and regulatory affairs.

You have already been responsible for ensuring that products comply with global chemical regulations (e.g. GHS, REACH). You enjoy the opportunity to work on a cross-functional and organizational level in an international environment.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and impact analysis of international chemical regulatory changes for our global products. You will then manage & execute the required regulatory actions (e.g. labeling change, substances’ registration under REACH-like regulations worldwide). You will create and manage our safety data sheets and labels according to GHS and also maintain the product data records in our product databases according to worldwide specifications. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including development teams, cross-business units, market organizations and plants. For our customers, you will be the contact person for product safety and environmental issues.

What you need is:

• Master (diploma) degree in natural sciences (biology, toxicology and related fields) or chemistry
• Knowledge of chemical regulations (e.g. REACH, GHS) and ability to SDS creation would be preferred
• Skills of assessing regulatory documentation
• Result-oriented, disciplined execution, self-responsible and pro-active approach
• Willingness and ability for team work
• Very good intercultural communication skills with internal and external partners
• Fluent in both – English and German
