For the expansion of the DSV Organisation, we are looking for you as "Global Account Director (m/f/d) Europe, Consumer" - based in Europe.

- -> The Global Account Director (GAD) drives Share of Wallet on the account(s). The role develops and executes the account plan preparing and driving the work and customer interaction on a day-to-day basis.
- -> The GAD is responsible for the daily management for one or more of DSV’s Platinum and/or Gold accounts across all DSV divisions and regions to grow, develop and retain the business, supported by the Account Executive for senior customer dialogue and escalations.
- -> The GAD will leverage industry expertise and other relevant in-house capabilities to ultimately ensure customer satisfaction.
This role can be located anywhere in Europe. Possible Offices in Germany include Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Leipzig, Kornwestheim, Krefeld or a DSV location near your home.
Financial
- Gross Profit responsibility for a Platinum and/or Gold account
- Maintain and develop existing account
Strategic
- Develop and execute on the strategy and account plan
- Leverage vertical knowledge, insights, and skills into account work
- Establishing a strong collaboration with the Account Executive
Customer relationships
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Commercial single point of contact for the account on a day-to-day basis
- Actively search and identify opportunities within account, and engage colleagues and divisions/operations to further grow the account
- Act as central escalation point for commercial, operational and contractual issues (including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Accounts Receivable (AR))
Operational
- Pursue and share insights from accounts in industry/ with similar supply chains
- Identify and resolve operational challenges of importance to customer in collaboration with the divisions
- Define and agree on goals and KPI’s for the logistics activities to match customer needs
Team & DSV
- Coordinate with executive and operational teams across divisions and locations
- Lead the account team and support Account Executive in steering the account team
- Drive pipeline management incl. collection and maintenance of opportunities and awards (e.g., in CRM)
- Proven track record of sales success
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 5 years of European experience in regional key account management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry
- Have excellent business/legal level language and drafting ability in both German
