In our efforts to highlight learning, we're expanding this focus by establishing an international learning organization with representatives from various segments.
Currently, we're seeking a Learning Business Manager to support this mission and contribute to our success as a global technology leader.
Your role

You are the point of contact for learning in your area of responsibility and identify current and future learning needs together with subject matter experts and provide empathetic advice on learning.

You think independently, break down and structure problems, prepare and bring about decisions and take ownership of projects, steering them from inception to completion.

You prioritize and balance learning needs of your area of responsibility and those across the whole ZEISS group together with your Learning Business Manager colleagues and evaluate synergies to ensure that we offer true value to the business.

You build a network for learning and coordinate the implementation of learning measures, except for product related topics.

You define valid standards, such as different learning methods, partner networks, or processes for needs-based and targeted learning and ensure their implementation.

You'll be expected to think and act critically and economically, manage your projects independently, making critical decisions, and ensuring that the outcomes align with our objectives.
Your profile

A degree in Business Management, Project Management, HR, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.

A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role.

Ideally, relevant experience in Organizational or Strategic Development, or Organizational Learning.

Strong strategic competence, with a knack for understanding complex issues, and the ability to cluster them meaningfully for independent solution development.

Excellent communication skills paired with a passion for project management.

Enjoys independently shaping, structuring, and working on international interfaces.

Proficiency in German and English (B2-C1).
