- Assessment of IAS / IFRS topics, in particular financial instruments / commodity transactions (e.g. IFRS 9, IFRS 10, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 37, IAS 2)
- Further development of the accounting principles relevant for RWE Supply & Trading GmbH
- Coordination of the group-relevant IAS / IFRS topics from the RWE Supply & Trading GmbH perspective
- Support of quarterly financial statements preparation in accordance with HGB / IFRS (e.g. valuation of commodity contracts, provisions, notes)
- Evaluation/Assessment of new products, acquisitions and investment projects
- Contributing in the preparation of decision templates for the executive committee
- Contact person for auditors inquiries
- Coordination and management of internal projects
Your powerful skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics or a comparable subject
- Very good knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong self-motivation and willingness to learn new tasks quickly
- Advanced English language skills
Advantageous, but not a must
- Knowledge in German Local GAAP (HGB)
