About The Role

We have supplied over 8,000 supermarkets in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK from our headquarters in Berlin. In the future, we would like to expand, as well as significantly extend, our presence in the area of gastronomy and e-commerce. This is where you come in.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will contribute to continuous improvement in Quality.

What You Will Do

• You define and build our internal QA/QC processes.

• You will manage documentation internally along with external partners and suppliers while keeping certifications up-to-date.

• You liaison with internal stakeholders for B-Corp, BioSuisse, Fair For Life, etc., while you own quality standards and manage audits.

• You will work with internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

• You ensure a consistent focus on continuous improvement, process controls, performance metrics, and customer complaint resolution.

• Internally and externally, you will serve as point of contact for all QA/QC-related issues.

• You are responsible for delivering improvements visible in our KPIs.

• You identify quality issues and effectively communicate mission-critical findings to senior management with the customer always in mind.

• You set QA/QC Customer Experience standards, including advising directly on complex issues

What You Come With

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering preferred; or relevant degrees/work experience

• Several years of experience in quality management of partners and suppliers in the food and/or food tech industry

• You are confident in handling data, can carry out basic statistics and case studies

• You are open-minded and creative and bring a unique perspective and approach to problem-solving

• Communication skills in German and English are a must
