CACI Life dac and CACI Non-Life dac are authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland, to conduct business across Europe on a freedom of establishment and freedom of services basis. As part of our One2025 strategy we are continuing to grow and support our Partner relationships and are looking to establish a Branch office in Germany.
The Branch Manager’s role is to set and implement CACI’s development strategy on the German market. The role holder will embrace all major stages of the insurance value chain. They shall manage Partnerships once in place, further build CACI’s offering to meet market expectations, supervise & coordinate operations on the field and represent the Company within industry associations with local authorities.
This is a highly hands-on sales development role in a hunting mode.
- Proposes a mid-term development strategy to address the German market, with an initial focus on Banks (T2 commercial Banks, Mutual Banks, Saving Banks) and Price Comparison Websites. It includes setting Sales Development plans, designing the roadmap to build and dimension required enablers along the value chain (mainly products, underwriting capabilities, IT and admin setup)
- Together with our TPA, coordinates design of a generic target operating model on subscription/ e-commerce, medical underwriting, policy management, claims and complaints declaration and management; including articulation with CACI systems & platforms
- Ensures constant monitoring of regulatory updates within the Branch and timely implementation of new requirements within the mandatory deadlines
- Oversees the contract drafting process, ensuring the completion of all formal validation steps in accordance with Group policies
- Supervises the execution of local accounting tasks such as tax declaration, reporting and management of the accounting provider
- Oversees, presents and proposes the budget of the Branch
- Manages the monitoring of operational risks, included those related to outsourced service providers
- Oversees the process of hiring resources for the Branch, providing the final approval in line with budgeted headcount
- Management and coordination of the Branch with the support of local managers and Irish Head of functions
