The Innovation Office team helps identify, validate, and bring to market new product opportunities for SAP. We are an entrepreneurial and cross-functional team with experts in Software Engineering, Data Science, User Experience Design and Product Management. We are searching for a Content Designer/Illustrator to create impactful visualizations that help us communicate high-profile innovation and strategic projects with our organization and customers.

In this role, you’ll:

You will be working closely with our product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders, we expect you to be a strong team player. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Craft and illustrate product visions with clear visual concepts.
• Design impactful business content using infographics, charts, and illustrations.
• Transform data into engaging visual stories, combining analytical accuracy with creative elegance.
• Simplify intricate technical concepts into relatable visual narratives.
• Collaborate with design and data experts to create immersive information experiences.

• Adhere to SAP's brand strategy while producing communication materials.
• Develop compelling presentation slides to support team's ideas and narratives.
• Produce animated videos and GIFs, amplifying thought leadership and internal content.
• Oversee content lifecycle on our team’s SharePoint platform.
• Forge strong ties with marketing and customer success teams for content alignment.
• Contribute actively to the team's culture, strategies, and growth endeavors.

Required Experience

• Currently enrolled at a university with a degree in Visual Design, Illustration, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related fields
• Exceptional creative, analytical, and conceptualization skills
• Mastery of design principles: composition, visual hierarchy, and more.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (focus on Illustrator & Photoshop).
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills in English
• Strong curiosity and growth mindset.

Preferred Experience

• Experience understanding and exploring technical topics such as Process Mining, Machine Learning, and AI
• Experience working with the design of data and analytics products
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Charts, Power BI
• Experience with transitions, compositing skills, animation, motion design and or dynamic interaction is also a plus
• Knowledge of market research and business analytics
