We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a leading company in the field of management and IT consulting. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions. This is a challenging position that requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience and expertise in various data engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Big Data Technologies:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of distributed computing and proficiency in big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, and data streaming technologies.

Data Warehousing:

• Design and implement large-scale data warehousing solutions, encompassing ETL processes, data modeling, and database administration.
• Proficiency in technologies such as Hive, Impala, Apache Iceberg, Apache Nifi, and Apache Oozie is required.

Programming Languages:

• Showcase expertise in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, Bash scripting, and SQL for effective data analysis, manipulation, and transformation.

Cloud Platforms:

• Experience in deploying and managing data pipelines in AWS cloud environments.

DevOps:

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Continuous Development (CD), and Continuous Integration (CI) techniques using tools like Git and GitLab.

Data Security:

• Understand and implement data security measures in accordance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Data Governance:

• Knowledge of data governance best practices, including data quality assurance, metadata management, and data lineage.

Agile Methodologies:

• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.

Nice to have - Data Visualization:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny, Power-BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
