Product Application Engineer - Battery Management (f/m/div)* in München bei Infineon Technologies
We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Application Engineer with expertise in battery management systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers, collaborating with our engineering teams, and ensuring the successful integration and application of our battery management solutions.
In your new role you will:
- Be responsible for product lifecycle from availability of samples until launch and design in support
- Contribute to the definition of new Battery Management ICs
- Prepare customer documentation and tools such as Datasheet, Application Notes, User Manual, Evaluation Kits , and Demo Boards
- Act as a trusted advisor for our customers for all related technical aspects and build long-term and trustful relationships
- Support our customers on application and system level
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary, world-wide and cross-functional teams
As a Product Application Engineer - Battery Managemen you are a self-driven, proactive, and true team player, collaborating with people from different functions and cultures to continuously deliver outstanding results. Your customers are always at the heart of your thoughts and actions and you can establish trusting and long-term relationships. Furthermore, you have the passion and the courage to develop creative ideas and new solutions, which you explain clearly and convincingly.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree in electrical engineering or a related field, curiosity and passion for technology and electronics
- +5 years of relevant work experience e.g. Application Engineering, System Engineering, Technical Marketing , or R&D in a semiconductor company, Automotive OEM/Tier1
- System knowledge in Automotive Electronics , Automotive Standards, and Battery Management Applications
- Ability to negotiate , presen t, and repor t in a convincing manner
- Programming skills ( embedded and/or desktop ) are a plus
- PCB Layout and Design is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
