What you´ll do
Handling the responsibilities of an occupational safety specialist (pursuant to ASiG, sec. 6 and DGUV Regulation 2) - Advising others on designing workstations and work processes
- Providing guidance on occupational health and safety in renovation projects
- Supporting risk assessments from a conceptual perspective; helping with the creation of risk assessments for the technical departments
- Conducting campaigns to raise awareness of road safety, ergonomics, and emergency management
- Creating innovative training materials
In this position, you will be working in the Occupational Safety Germany department (part of SAP’s global finance infrastructure (GFI)) at the company’s headquarters in Walldorf/Rot. In addition to being involved in various innovative projects, you will serve as a contact for employees, managers, business departments, and the Works Council, including in connection with strategic topics related to occupational health and safety. One of your primary tasks will be the safety-related supervision of the various areas (such as IT, GRF)
What you bring
Degree in safety engineering or certification as an occupational safety specialist; additional qualifications preferred (as a fire prevention officer, radiation protection officer, occupational health and safety coordinator (SiGeKo), for example) - Good organizational and coordination skills
- Very good skills in German and English, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office
- Skills in managing construction and renovation projects
- High level of dedication, particularly with regard to service and quality
- Interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously, and commitment
- Good social skills and the ability to work in a team
