Transdev Group is looking for a Junior Purchasing Coordinator to be based in Germany.

In Germany from 1998, Transdev is the leading private rail passenger’s operator and has helped to revitalize certain regions by deploying services that are better adapted to passengers’ needs. We operate 20 Operation & Maintenance contracts, totalizing 55 million train km for 118 million passengers per year. The fleet is composed of 472 trainsets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Purchasing Coordinator at Transdev, you will play a crucial role in managing our purchasing portfolios. You will be responsible for consolidating and analyzing expenses, prioritizing actions, and proposing performance plans to achieve savings objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in deploying existing contracts and advising operational staff on procurement processes.

The Junior Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for:

Purchasing Portfolio Management:

• Consolidate, analyze, and rationalize expenses over time, ensuring efficiency by prioritizing actions.
• Collaborate with key prescribers to achieve savings objectives and deploy existing contracts.
• Provide guidance to operational staff in identifying needs and drafting specifications.

Deployment of Contracts:

• Design communication materials to facilitate contract usage and, when appropriate, establish price catalogs.
• Analyze contract deployment rates and propose actions to ensure contract enforcement.
• Contribute to the management of Framework Agreements and supplier relationships.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Ensure supplier panel compliance, manage contract reviews, and address disputes with contracted suppliers.
• Work with prescribers to manage the escalation process effectively.
• Propose strategic suppliers and assist in implementing relevant initiatives.
