WHAT PART WILL YOU PLAY?

• As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for a number of our medium-voltage products within the Siemens PLM process. This includes conducting marketing activities such as developing and updating catalogs and marketing materials, monitoring product costs and market positioning, and initiating corrective actions when necessary. You will also analyze the market and competitors and initiate projects for new development and products improvements.
• You will monitor the commercial product performance, create business plans, and implement them in collaboration with the sales team.
• You will plan the developments for your products in line with the overarching strategy, initiate development projects as part of the annual planning process, create specifications, and oversee the economic and technical outcomes of the development project.
• You will support the sales team regarding the application of your products and provide technical advice and assistance, both internally and externally, for technical inquiries and complaints.
• You will ensure a strong marketing presence for your products and drive the digitalization of the tools and information necessary for this.
• You will work closely with other departments, both domestically and internationally, to manage our international portfolio.

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE REAL WHAT MATTERS

• The foundation for your success is a completed Master’s degree in a technical field or industrial engineering.
• You have longterm years of related professional experience in the medium-voltage sector.
• Furthermore, you bring additional specialized expertise in other areas, such as applications in energy networks, industrial product development, implementation of IT solutions like configurators or robots, or successful market entry in competitive markets.
• You possess a strong general knowledge of product applications in energy distribution.
• You have a good understanding of economic contexts.
• You employ effective persuasion and influence strategies to gain acceptance for ideas and commitment to action.
• You have experience in digitalization, are inclined towards digital transformation, and ideally, are familiar with the Siemens tool landscape.
• You understand the diverse requirements and approaches at different global locations and can implement them purposefully.
• You communicate fluently in English and preferably in other languages, and you have a sensitivity to various cultures to facilitate efficient collaboration.
