We are looking for a passionate Principal Engineer (m/f/d) with the energy and drive to join us on our journey in digitizing & modernizing club management, not only in Germany but in the entire DACH region.

Your role at KURABU:

Take ownership for the whole development cycle - from architecture design to implementation and testing, as well as maintaining existing code
Be a compelling sparring partner to our CTO
Collaborate effectively with the team for building new features and support them
Create scalable solutions and ship working, testable, maintainable, readable code/data to production in small and safe iterations
Work with common third-party APIs and create APIs of our own
Make sure that high quality standards are met
Think outside the box and suggest innovative solutions to challenging problems

Who are we looking for:

You are a dedicated self-starter who has experience in maintaining and developing digital products
You are a seasoned engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-scale, high-impact solutions. Experience in the fast-paced tech start-up life is a plus!
You have a deep understanding of different layers of a software stack and can be hands-on in all of them
Experience in Elixir or Ruby, preferably in an agile environment
Deep knowledge of React and PostgreSQL
Proven experience with AWS
Experience with complex microservice architectures and REST APIs
