About the Role

Are you passionate about fitness and excited about working in a dynamic and steadily growing startup environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Berlin as the City Lead (all genders).

Among our four BEAT81 locations in Germany, Berlin is our largest, with 15+ locations, including several Indoor Cycling and Indoor HIIT studios. With three new studio launches coming up in 2024, our growth shows no signs of slowing down.

As the City Lead, you will take full ownership of our Berlin operations, manage a team of 12 while overseeing our expanding number of studios. You will report directly to Senior Management and drive the development and success of our growing presence.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee operations in Berlin to ensure the highest standards of customer experience, trainer performance, studio quality, and overall workout experience.
• Manage the local city team, consisting of 12+ full-time employees, 150+ coaches, and 35+ front-of-house employees.
• Support the team in day-to-day studio and coach community operations.
• Improve cost and operational KPIs for Berlin operations and identify ways to enhance efficiency.

Your Profile

• Fluent in English (at least C1)
• Upper-intermediate level in German (at least B2), native level preferred
• 3-5 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a high-growth start-up with an offline product and working in (local) operations
• Autonomous self-starter with strong organisational skills and a hands-on mentality
• Strong people management skills and proven track record of leadership experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others
• Clear, confident, and persuasive communicator
