You will be part of the Stress Test Experts Division in the Directorate General Horizontal Line Supervision. Our Division has around 40 staff providing scenario-based and sensitivity stress test analysis to the Joint Supervisory Teams (JSTs). We coordinate and implement the ECB’s contribution to the EU-wide stress tests initiated by the European Banking Authority (EBA) and run the ECB’s regular annual stress tests as well as its biennial thematic stress tests. We are currently preparing for the EU-wide stress tests to be conducted in the first half of 2025.
In your role as a Senior Supervisor in the stress test Project Management Office (PMO ) within the Stress Test Experts Division, you will be part of a team of 12-14 members of staff helping to conduct and deliver the 2025 EU-wide stress tests. This will involve working closely with all the main stakeholders involved in the stress-testing exercise, including the JSTs, the risk teams conducting the stress tests and the stress-test governing bodies.

As a Senior Supervisor in the stress test PMO you will:
- help to monitor and steer the stress-testing process;
- prepare and review the internal and external communications on the stress test concerned;
- review drafts and prepare materials to support the stress test governing bodies;
- support the coordination and delivery of PMO-organised training and survey activities;
- engage and collaborate with all stakeholders involved in the stress-testing process;
- support the FAQ process and other tasks relating to the stress test infrastructure processes.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
- a master’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, accountancy, statistics or another relevant field (see How you can join us for details of degree equivalences);
- in addition to the above, seven or more years of professional experience in project management or project coordination or IT experience gained at a regulatory authority, supervisory/competent authority, financial institution, international organisation or top-tier consultancy firm;
- a working knowledge of project management tools and techniques;
- an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Desired:
- Prior experience in EBA EU-wide and SSM stress test exercises;
- experience in STAR infrastructure or an IT background;
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
