As an Engineer you will develop and deliver significant components of engineering solutions to satisfy complex and diverse business goals. Your key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain the market connectivity layer for global listed derivatives markets (futures and options).

• Maintain and re-engineer low latency infrastructure across global locations (incl. proximity and colocation facilities).

• Work with vendors and in-house technology teams to deliver exchange mandatory, regulatory, and business driven enhancements.

• Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria.

• Design & build solutions which are secure & controlled.

Your skills and experiences

• Hands-on experience with Unix / Linux command line.

• Scripting and automation tools (SDLC, Python)

• Knowledge of markets trading and global listed derivatives domain: futures and options (as a plus)

• Understand key elements of security, risk & control, track record in identifying and making improvements to the delivery process.

• Hands-on experience with FIX (Financial Information exchange) protocol (as a plus)

• Analytical thinker, team player and possess strong communication skills.
