AI Applications Requirements and Verification Engineer (f/m/x) - Temporary position (1 Year) in München bei ZEISS Group
Your Role
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented “AI applications requirements and verification engineer” to join our AI and Machine Learning R&D team. In this position, you have a key role in evaluating machine learning applications, defining their requirements, and validating them before they go into production. Furthermore, you provide support with establishing and implementing the framework for deployment and operation of AI-based medical software for ophthalmology, laser vision correction and microsurgery on cloud. This role involves close interaction with different teams and functions across different locations and providing input and guidance to developers from different R&D teams. Your primary tasks are:

Define the requirements for the technical and clinical performances of ML algorithms and generate reports summarizing the training results for communicating with product managers and the R&D team.

Lead verification activities for AI projects according to quality management system a. Define test specifications and analyzing the test results of different ML algorithms b. Test applications as independent tester and provide official evaluations and verifications according to quality management system

Define the requirements for continuous monitoring and continuous learning for the medical ML-algorithms in production

Maintain the continuous monitoring and continuous learning solutions for different ML algorithms.
Your Profile

Master’s degree in computer science, informatics, biomedical engineering, or a related engineering field

3 years of experience working as software developer, requirements engineer, project manager, or verification lead

Experience with defining requirements and designing tests for machine learning applications for the medical domain

Experience with automated testing frameworks

Programming skills in Python

Fluency in English

Experience working in a regulated environment as medical applications domain and generating the quality management system related verification plans and reports is preferred

Hands on experience with machine learning tools and platforms is preferred

Experience with MS Azure is preferred
