Our Aqueduct charging systems are an intelligent combination of hardware and software that we develop in-house. We're working together to create an urban infrastructure solution that charges vehicles in a smart, cost-efficient, and daily mobility behavior-based way. With a team of 50 employees located in Munich, we're leading the charge towards a sustainable transport system of the future.

Your challenge

• Troubleshooting the embedded firmware issues that are reported by operation team
• Maintaining, improving and extending firmware with Python and/or MicroPython
• Developing automated tests and system tests
• Performing the system tests on the EV charger
• Code review
• Effective teamwork while discussing interfaces with other components
• Publish and contribute to open source libraries

Your Expertise

• Advanced Python knowledge and practical experience
• 2+ years of relevant job experience as a developer
• General programming skills such as GIT, automated testing, best practices and documentation
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Extraordinary passion for bringing an outstanding product to reality line by line
• Relevant degree or solid project portfolio

Nice to have

Relevant (job) experience in:

• Advanced software patterns (e.g. observer pattern, dependency injection)
• Shell-scripting
• Test-driven development (TDD)
• Protocols such as MQTT and websockets
• OCPP and/or relevant experience in electrical charging infrastructure
• IT-security and secure communication (e.g. TLS)
• Working with hardware (e.g. RaspberryPi or Arduino)
• Linux (specifically Debian and/or Raspbian)
