Title: Legal Assistant (m/fd)

Based at: Wertheim Village

About the role

As our Legal Assistant, you will assist the Legal Team with the management of contractual documentation, bank relationships, and other legal documents and projects as they arise. You will also provide support for other departments in the Village on any legal related issues.

Key responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.

Provide general administrative support at all times
Draft legal correspondence
Maintain and manage a five year diary and prepare weekly office diaries
Maintain a filing and archive system for all legal documents

Manage the sign off procedure for all contractual documentation
Maintain a proper inventory of legal documents and contracts
Coordinate and follow up on the renewal of bank guarantees and insurance certificates

Follow up outstanding pre and post signature matters with Brands
Attend Village Compliance meetings, prepare and follow up on any legal issues related

About You

We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:

Degree education in Paralegal, Rechsanwaltsfachangestellte/-r or Bürokauffrau/mann is preferrable
Experience in the legal industry is preferrable
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent word processing skills with experience in drafting or translating documents
Able to work well with all levels across the business and to adapt to a fast pace environment
A good communicator
Ability to prioritise your work to meet tight and multiple deadlines
Ability to both work as a team and work independently with minimal supervision
